Second volume of «Scenes of Valencian Design», an editorial series devoted to building the memory of design in the Valencian Community through new perspectives on key figures and milestones of the Valencian creative ecosystem.
Written by Eugenio Viñas, Lidia Caro, Clara Sáez and Vicent Molins, it is designed by Ibán Ramón and, through its 10 new chapters, highlights stories ranging from the role of women in the history of Nolla mosaic tiles to key figures such as Lola Castelló and architects Javier Goerlich and Rafael Tamarit, as well as milestones such as Espai Verd and contemporary phenomena linked to companies like Closca. The book also explores stories connected to industry and popular culture, including the trajectory of Rolser, the history of the doll factories of Onil (Famosa), the design of the Valencian pilota ball, and a chapter dedicated to Cobi, the iconic character created by Javier Mariscal.
